Coverage
LFP Partners LLC warrants the labor and craftsmanship of work we self-perform or manage for a period of one (1) to five (5) years from the date of substantial completion, as recorded on the final walkthrough document. The term that applies to your project depends on its scope and is written into your project agreement before work begins.
- Defects in installation workmanship across trades we managed on the project.
- Finish work that fails due to improper installation rather than normal use or settlement.
- Correction of items identified within the warranty period at no labor cost to the owner.
What is not covered
- Manufacturer product defects, which are covered by the applicable manufacturer warranty. We will assist in pursuing those claims.
- Normal wear, owner-installed modifications, and work performed by others after completion.
- Damage caused by deferred maintenance, weather events, or subsequent water intrusion unrelated to our work.
- Cosmetic variation inherent to natural materials such as stone, hardwood, and tile.
Duration
Coverage begins at substantial completion and runs from one to five years depending on the scope of the project, with the exact term stated in your signed agreement. Manufacturer and material warranties run on their own terms and are transferred to the owner at closeout.
How to initiate a warranty claim
Contact our team at (678) 476-3728 or info@lfp-partners.com with the project address, a description of the issue, and photographs where possible. We acknowledge warranty requests within two business days and schedule an inspection before any corrective work is scoped.
Documentation
Every project closes with a record set including the final scope, change orders, photographic documentation, and transferred manufacturer warranties. Keeping that package makes warranty administration straightforward for both parties.
This page summarizes the warranty provided in LFP Partners' project agreements. Where this summary and the signed contract differ, the signed contract governs.
